East Asian Studies with Chinese Language Concentration: 

31 Junior/Senior credit hours – 9 hours must be taken at KU.

  • CHIN 504-508 (10 credits)
  • ECIV 304 or 305 (3 credits)
  • Pre-modern Chinese Literature, Culture, or Language (3 credits)
  • Modern Chinese Literature, Culture, or Language (3 credits)
  • Two courses on China (6 credits)*
  • One course on East Asia (3 credits)*
  • One course on Japan or Korea (3 credits)

*Honors 499 may be used to fulfill either of the requirements marked with *
